Where it started

From 2012 to 2016, my wife and I bought and rebuilt houses on the north side of Winter Haven that most people drove past. Many were abandoned, some were little more than shells. We cleaned them out, fixed them up, and turned them into homes that local families bought and made their own.

Those homes have appreciated a great deal since then, and the streets around them changed with them. That's what I'm proudest of. It wasn't one house. It was a neighborhood that came back.

What I do now

Over the years I've sat at a lot of kitchen tables. I've worked with families who lost someone they love, people who inherited a house they never expected, couples downsizing, owners relocating from other states, and homeowners who fell behind on their payments and needed the weight off their shoulders.

In some cases we've helped bring a property current, take the debt off the owner's plate, and give them room to breathe and start their next chapter. Other times people simply wanted to sell, quickly and without hassle, and that's fine too.

How I work

I use creative strategies, not just cash offers. Sometimes that means buying a house outright. Sometimes it means taking over payments or arranging owner financing so the deal works for both sides. Once we own a home, we fix it up and either sell it to a family or keep it as a rental, housing families while they work toward owning their own.

Every situation is different, and I'll always tell you honestly what I see, even if the best answer isn't selling to me.
